Lemon would definitely send me over the top. Citrus is one of the biggest triggers of GERD. Definitely no citrus at all. No coffee, caffeine, alcohol.
I hope you know what foods you can and can’t have.

apple cider vinegar is ok but lemon can damage you inside!!

It funny that I can not touch any citrus but apple cider vinegar makes me feel better when it is also acidic.
After some reading, I realise that lemon is very high in histamines and apple cider vinegar is only moderate. So I’m pretty sure that my GERD is caused by histamine intolerance. Can’t do any high histamine foods.
Some other people on this site might find this true for themselves as well.

Lemons are a big no, no. They are super acidic. Lemons are made of acid… just say no.
